An avid volunteer, Melanie Woodward has built a life based on passion…passion for learning and for discovering and travelling the world. Melanie had an incredible, life-altering volunteer experience Rwanda in December, 2009 and November, 2010.
Her self-funded trips to Rwanda are part of several initiatives Melanie has undertaken. She is also working with Gisimba Orphanage by funding the education of a 15 year old orphan who touched her heart when they met in December, 2009; by supporting the efforts of Faith Victory Association through Art for Africa; and working with Global Relief and Development Partners' Social Entrepreneurship Program in Kigali.
While in Rwanda, Melanie created a blog and has many videos to share the experience of her journey, so you can see how your contribution makes a difference. Please visit her blog at www.rebuildingrwanda.blogspot.com.
Melanie sincerely thanks all of the volunteers and sponsors for their support, time and contribution.
